"Changed My Life - I was fine using my CPAP but I’m young and my doctor didn’t want me using a CPAP machine my whole life. My oral appliance is amazing and I am so grateful I have it. In fact, this is my second SomnoMed. I specifically asked for this kind again and thank goodness insurance covered this kind. Otherwise I would’ve figured something out to get it again because I sleep so well with it.

"I developed mild sleep apnea following my tonsils and adenoid removal while in my 50’s. Immediately I would be woken with loud snores before I could fall asleep, This never abated, I wasnt offered treatment at the time, however some 10 years later, following another sleep study, I have been offered treatment of a mandibular splint. I chose the Avanti which is the newest version of mandibular splint.
This product works, it seems such a simple solution for what could be a grave problem. It has reduced my mild sleep apnea to no sleep apnea. It has also reduced my snoring.
It is comfortable to wear. My deep sleep has increased which is really good and I find my sleep is more restful. I feel very happy that I have not had to resort to a cpap machine, which, I doubt I would have been able to tolerate."
“I was informed by my wife that I had sleep apnea. Three independent sleep studies confirmed that I do have chronic, obstructive sleep apnea. I was prescribed an oral appliance and BiPAP machine, which together, eliminated my sleep apnea.
I therefore highly recommend that if you have ANY doubts about whether you have sleep apnea, please get a sleep study done. It could save your life!
