Rest Assure

Rest Assure has been developed from two of SomnoMed’s most successful designs – SomnoDent Avant and SomnoDent Herbst Avant Elite.

The smart Rest Assure Avant device is built using the SomnoDent Avant design incorporating:

  • Upper and lower splints milled from pre-cured PMMA – creating a device 18% stronger than devices made from traditional PMMA.
  • SomnoMed’s unique b-flex comfort liner – designed to cradle and support each individual tooth for unparalleled comfort.
  • The “passive mouth closing” strap designed to encourage nasal breathing.

SomnoDent Avant has shown higher efficacy than traditional wing-based designs of oral appliances.1

Rest Assure incorporates the b-flex comfort liner

Competitive devices use ”an interference fit”, where teeth are jammed into the device to keep it on the patients’ teeth. Not only can this be uncomfortable, but over time these devices can lose retentiveness.

Rest Assure utilizes SomnoMed’s b-flex comfort liner for unparalleled comfort. The b-flex comfort Liner cradles and supports each individual tooth, reducing pressure on the teeth that can cause discomfort and cause patients to stop wearing their devices. The retention of each Rest Assure device is optimized by molding the shape of the b-flex to match each patient’s dentition, ensuring a comfortable fit for the life of the device.
